What are the roles of the staff team?

Discord staff moderators (purple/grey text) are responsible for moderating the official Plazma Burst discord server.
 
Support Staff members (green text) are responsible for moderating the forum and ticket system.
 
Site staff moderators (light blue text) are responsible for moderating the chat, game, forum and website. Their main focus is help with the community and moderate the chat, game, forum and website.
 
Head moderators (dark blue text) are responsible for moderating the chat, game, forum, website, while focusing on supervising the moderating team and helping administrators.
 
Administrators (red text) administrate the chat, game, forum, website, and supervise the staff team. Their main focus is to keep everything in running order, in addition to various behind-the-scene aspects regarding the game.

In addition, you may notice some staff members have additional roles such as approval team, developer, or event staff roles. Approval team members are responsible for maintaining the approval system (the ability to approve, unapprove or disapprove custom maps) as well as the decoration system (the ability to approve, unapprove, or disapprove decorations). The developers are responsible for controlling and maintaining custom bots used in the discord server. Event staff members are responsible for organizing events on the site or on discord.

How do I join the staff team?

The Plazma Burst Staff team recruitment is always open. In general, the staff team typically fills the need for moderators based upon certain characteristics including but not limited to website activity, forum activity, discord activity, in-game moderation, consistency, past experience and maturity. Staff members volunteer their time to keep the player experience enjoyable and safe. In order to apply for a staff position, you must fulfill the following criteria:

Must have held a Plazma Burst account for at least 3 months.
Must be able to spend at least 10 hours per week regarding staff duties.
Must be at least 16 years old to be support team, and 18 years old to be a staff member.
Must be knowledgeable with all features of the site, including the forums, site, game, and level editor.
Must have access to a Windows PC/Mac, including access to Plazma Burst multiplayer and various third party applications such as Discord.
Must not be in a clan.
Must be willing to attend a casual interview with administration via a voice service such as Skype, Teamspeak, or Curse.
