So I noticed that when a bullet hits another player and kills them, they will sometimes not get killed. I assume this is just an anti-cheat method where the game checks if the hit was even possible on the killed player's client, and either doing damage or ignoring the hit.

The problem is that every unsuccessful kill will still activate the killed player's death trigger, without them actually dying. It's only activated on the shooter's client, which may lead to desync issues. I tested this by disabling a gun only for one player slot and shooting said player. They wouldn't die, but the death trigger was still kicking.

I suppose this can be fixed by only activating the death trigger once the hit is confirmed.

The latest update fixed some important multiplayer bugs. This still isn't fixed.
I'm working on a map that awards points and respawns a player for every kill. First to reach 10 points wins. Any desync on that would break the map, the anti-cheat could even kick people for respawning.
Will this be fixed soon?
