What is your favourite gun in the series?

Throughout the whole game,
you must have met a gun that is like your soul-mate and that you LOVE using.

What gun would it be? Why? When did you firstly like it?

Personally, it would be the Alien Shotgun.

It's fast fire rate, sleek design and damage is superb.

It was in PB2 only so that's when I took it from some aliens lvl 2 and I used it to kill everything

I'm kind of torn here, I love both the sniper and the heavy railgun (the heavy railgun was always considered the sniper until snipers themselves arrived).

Rayrifle is easily the most OP gun in the entire game to me. ^.^
However, idk where to find it in the Campaign. :/

Well, my favorite weapon that I use the most is Assault Rifle CS-RC aka H&K XM8.

Accurate, decent firing rate and good general purpose weapon. For some extra reasons, I use it for close quarters.

For me, it's the Alien Rifle. Fits the 'weapon-for-grunts' theme pretty well.

Also, it's pretty much outclasses that Alien Shotgun if the person knows what he's doing

CS-Bloom. While it seems to be an useless weapon, it's more than effective against invisible Enemies and Vehicles. IT can also help cancel out Rails. The only disadvantage is that you will get shredded if you are behind a thin wall, since you can't return fire.

The best thing about this Gun is the sound IMO.

1.) Ray rifle or automatic rifle (CS version).
2.) I prefer a mid range combat since close up is too risky and far range is hard to hit for me.
3.) I first liked it when I was playing an old training map and taking a weaponry quiz.

For real, I think I prefer the C-01p pistol because it is an all-round gun with decent rate of fire, great damage and very good penetration.

The Sniper Rifle CS-YippeeKiYay aka Dragunov SVD.

Basically, it's a good sniper rifle which has a good piercing capability and requires a good sharpshooter eye.
