Postby Cpt Epsilon Tex » 11 June 2016, 08:18

Here we goes. It is my first art of my new gun:

Smass-410

A SPAS-12 with
-modded stock, which is an M4's adjustable stock,
-an RDS on the rail,
-a shorter barrel,
-a cartridge drum,
-a Tactical grip.
-8 flamy projectiles per shot

Because it is my first art, please don't hate it. And if you have idea what to change, please write it in your comment, and i will see what i can do:)

(Thats a shot gun? Kinda looks like an SMG + a Shotgun combined) But cool design though.

That is because this shotgun has a drum cartridge.

Looks decent for a first.Might want to avoid using thick lines, especially if it's a PB2 based weapon. Those shells on the side look horrible and out of place though. 5/10

If you make it more modern it'll be good for me.

But right in this moment it's acceptable.

Its alright for a first, you've got the overall mechanics looking like it would actually fire but I think you need to make it less 'blocky' and the grips are a little skinny

As far as I can tell the only "mechanism" there is the pump.

Thick lines are fine if you use them right. Not too thick that the general shape of the gun is destroyed but not not too thin that every little detail is crystal clear.

The general concept is okay, but the execution is pretty bad. For example, PB2 weapons don't have rails and probably wouldnt due to the fact that their lines are too thick to portray them correctly, the pistol grip looks uncomfortable, some of the features are drawn in with a large round brush, and the magazine needs shading if it's a drum.

Yeah, where's the hair trigger for the weapon? We can't shoot it without the hair trigger.

Would be pretty hilarious if somebody said that the gun that you're using doesn't have a trigger, but you shot at him. Then he would say "How the heck did you shot the gun without having a hair trigger?" Sounds funny though.
