Some PDW

I wanted to give this some cool name like I usually do but I couldn't, so we'll just call this the M-20.

Information
- Developed: 2021 (but designed in 2019 as part of a laser weapons program)
- Developer: unknown
- Rate of fire: 850 RPM
- Magazine: 65 (before cooldown occurs)
- Range: Variable though reports claim that it exceeds that of a typical ballistics sniper rifle; needs further reports

Not meant for PB2, hence why it's in Other Art and not Still Art. Apparently stating that twice (in weapon set 9 to be exact) isn't enough to get the message across to some, if not most, people. The 'too much detail for the game' argument won't work here.

People have been moaning about you adding too much details on your art.
Well, it's totally fine on your PDW.

I like it, especially the touchscreen with the firemodes.

The complaining is exactly why I don't make art for PB2 anymore. I'd rather have more control and freedom regarding the detail than to be constrained to something I don't even like (the simplicity, etc). It's a bit annoying when I have to give the same explanation regarding the detail every single time.

The screen isn't touchscreen btw - it's just an ammunition counter (which was a pain to make because I had to use like 4 different fonts for it). The gun only has an automatic firing mode but because lasers barely give recoil, there's no need to have a burst fire or semi-auto mode. You can easily replicate both by pulling the trigger for short amounts of time without the recoil changing at all.

Thanks though.

KLMJETWORK wrote:As always, nice. I like the detail on this one compared to your other non PB weapons because the other ones have waaaaaaay too many lines of varied sizes.

The other two were supposed to have that many lines, but to each their own, I suppose.

The detail's light on this one because I wanted to experiment with shading and surfaces with this gun.

This is a bit irrelevant but here's a SMG I made last night at 2-3 AM.

It's not great considering I usually work on a 1000x600 canvas and this one was 600px high.

It was mainly shading practice with PDN anyways. Colors weren't a major priority.
