Konquer was, according to him, muted for telling a moderator the difference between flooding and spamming. KLM also stated

I bet this will be locked because it is 'pointing fingers' or not 'promoting discussion'.

Now, that's two sources that are pointing fingers at whom? Niro. Two different people came forward to say that Niro was acting in a rather unorderly fashion.

Anime Star had locked the topic so I decided to bring it back from the depths of lock, and directly ask a question to create a discussion. Since Anime Star locked the topic, calling it a "freepost," I will directly ask you:

What is your opinion on this? Has Niro or another moderator acted in a corrupt manner towards you or another user you know? Well tell us all here!

It is not like you can't send a private message to the next head moderator or administrator about problems which might involve certain staff members to clear things.
I am assuming this wouldn't come to the topic author's mind because of whatever reasons so i let you know to send me or assasinguy a private message if you have got something regarding this.
We of course need some kind of proof like screenshots which show proper contexts and/or conversation threads which underline your stated reports.

If done correctly, we will take further actions to be sure that things will work well in the future.


As for this topic, reports being posted here will be ignored unless they follow an appropriate structure such as, as mentioned, screenshots and a short text which states the happenings from your point of view since just posting opinions here tends to be misunderstood as "pointing fingers" or whatnot and also won't make anything better as well.

If that was not the actual purpose of thundrex's topic, fair enough you can just post your opinions about the happenings here and i won't mind you doing that.

I greatly dislike the fact that I learn about this incident via forum post - and not through Niro, Alica, or the community itself sending me or another admin a message.

So from what I can see, the ban had nothing to do with "teaching staffing" and was due to Konquer plain old insulting Niro.

I can see on the first screenshot some kind of argument over flooding versus spamming. It shouldn't matter which one you're warned for, they're practically the same thing, and they carry the same punishment.

If you're pedantic and childish enough to spend your free time arguing the acute differences, you need to pry your ass off your computer and go get a life.

Somehow it seems like this whole deal was blown waaaay out of proportion for some odd reason. Everyone who posted some kind of comment about the matter clearly knows a lot more than I do about the subject, so maybe they'd like to provide their own screenshots and evidence. Failing that, I can always request a chat log check and see what really went down.
