Unfortunately testing it on Safari means that I need OS X device nearby which I unfortunately don't have at this time.
Must be something really simple what causes it to not work. Even though it might work in Chrome - you can also report error messages that it tells about in Developer Tools (or Developer's console) on your specific device.
