Seeing Text Decors in Preview + Decor Size and Degree

Normally, in Level Editor you can't see the Text,
Decoration Size and the Degree. However, imagine you could actually see it or atleast one of the functions. This could make stuff alot more easier, including map making, orientation and etc.

What do you think? Should it be added as a new "feature"?

You should be able to just straight up type the text in without needing a trigger action for it.

Indeed. I literally just thought about that. Also imagine you could set the size, opacity there. Would be sooo good if they added text to the functions on the left side (where stuff like wall, trigger and so on is displayed) you know? Like a big "T"? Also, adjusting shadows of text, gradient color, fonts and etc. would look nice too, well more like be a big step forward for map making atleast.

Hey Zibuya,

The idea sounds good, but it will be very difficult / impossible to implement. There can be many scenarios (variables with different timer, USE button, character activate, any trigger mechanism) that can cause the text to change, decorations to change scale and rotate, so it is hard for the map preview to figure out what has changed.

Loading a map preview in this scenario will require the level editor to actually execute all of the triggers and timers. You can see how impractical it is to implement it.

I would love to be able to see decorations modified accordingly but I don't think there is an easy solution to implement.

The Happy Wheels level editor does it like that. (Probably not the best comparison I could make.)
