The idea sounds good, but it will be very difficult / impossible to implement. There can be many scenarios (variables with different timer, USE button, character activate, any trigger mechanism) that can cause the text to change, decorations to change scale and rotate, so it is hard for the map preview to figure out what has changed.
Loading a map preview in this scenario will require the level editor to actually execute all of the triggers and timers. You can see how impractical it is to implement it.
I would love to be able to see decorations modified accordingly but I don't think there is an easy solution to implement.
