I FINALLY completed this map. Why do I accentuate this? Because it is ~6 years old. It has been in development since 2014. Yes, there were pauses, because the game was gradually dying, I lost a lot of PB2 friends, and then the motivation to create. Then a very long pause from 2017 to 2020, I visited PB2 almost a couple of times a year, or even not at all. But now, it's 2020, and with renewed energy (with the support of nostalgia), I dusted off my maps and began to renovate them.
The first choice of renovation fell on this part of the cancer series of saws. I tested every update with the players, carefully looking for every detail, every aspect that could make a new player confused.
Do you know what is difficult at this time? Don't do anything wrong. I really want to add something else, but then the map becomes too full. It is very important to maintain the style and rhythm of the gameplay. I hope I did it.
You know, despite the large number of ratings (for me) of 100+, I still wanted this map to be remembered and resonated in the hearts (Don't blame me for my ambition ;D). I made it primarily for the players, but in a way that I also liked. Therefore, I was careful about the reaction and behavior of players each time I entered multiplayer with it, in order to be more objective. I would like players not to think that this map is constantly trying to kill them and tear them to pieces, rather, on the contrary, so that it is pleasant to play on, but not boring.
I left a couple of secrets so that the map will not be boring even after passing. I hope you find them, it's not as difficult as it might seem.
This map is like old wine to me. It found my old friends, who are no longer online for these days... It caught me and my skills in map making. Unfortunately, I can't remember exactly what it was like at the beginning. Only the layout carries the old idea. And its design became more and more refined, acquired several of its own features. This map is both old and new at the same time. Like all of us.
