v1.1 - Range update

Range has been implemented to the game and specific changes have been made to attributes! Additionally, I'd like some player input about whether or not I should allow players to reset their stats after major mechanical changes, such as this one that may affect attributes and weapons.

Changes made:
Spoiler: Show More
Four stats have been added into the C: Other category, Movement Points, Noise, Detection Range and Range.

-Movement Points (MP): Movement points determine how far you can move. They are increased by investing into Agility. Movement points function as a cap - you cannot move more than is allowed.

-Range: Range, like its name states, determines the effective range of your weapon or spell before suffering from accuracy and attack penalties. Increased by firearm-specific attachments, spell tomes and investing in Tactics and Precision.

-Detection range: Determines at which distance you can spot enemies without making noise. Reduced during Night or Evening, increased by Precision investment and specific attachments.

-Noise: How much noise your weapon produces, alerting enemies within its range. Melee weapons and spells typically produce minimal noise, making them ideal for stealthy eliminations, but firearms produce lots of noise. Reduced by attachments such as suppressors.

Other changes were made to attributes to complement the new mechanics, listed below.

"Good call. Let's get moving." he says, briefly reloading his revolver and dumping the loose casings on the ground, but bending down to loot a body. Before he can finish, you hear the sound of something colliding with the metal walls of the hangar, followed by a deafening explosion!

Turning your attention to the store, you walk towards it and swing the door open. A small bell rings as you step inside the shop - a small, humble tavern. Dim orange lights, hovering above your head, were illuminating the area. The music from an accordion filled the room, played by a cheerful man in the far back. The tavern was relatively empty - only the employees, the awfully cheerful man and a pair of CZ officers were present.

One of the employees - a woman in uniform approaches you and speaks.

-Employee
"Welcome to our humble tavern.. how may I help you?" she says with a welcoming tone, but then her eyes widen in shock as she notices your wound.

-Employee
"Whoa, shit, dude.. You should get that patched up.." the woman whispers in concern.

None of the other tavern dwellers notice - or say - anything, instead continuing on with their business. The employees continue cleaning the floors or countertops, while the man with the accordion keeps the music going, oblivious to anything and carefree. The CZ officers, on the other hand, were having a hushed discussion in their table.

You holler at your comrades, but they don't seem to hear you over the sound of the booming gunfire. The remaining scavenger raises his weapon and prepares to fire, but Pyotr is faster and raises his G36C, taking precise aim at the scav!

"You didn't tell us there was a guy just chilling in the back with a fuсking hand cannon?!" he yells angrily.

-Pyotr
"Man, that gun he fired was bigger than him! Should be a miracle that we didn't die." Pyotr adds sarcastically.

Foma quickly brushes his shoulder and loads his shotgun using some loose shells, staying silent. Kostya speaks up again.

-Kostya
"We got what we came for. Let's move." he says as he begins going up the stairwell, but Pyotr draws his attention to the man whose guts are all over the floor and snatches the revolver from his cold, dead hands.

"Put the sledge down!" his comrade says. The man slowly lowers his sledge and places it on the ground.

"Well shit, fuсkin' bravo. You say you're here for an arms deal? How much shtuka you got?" Trechov says as he lowers his weapon.

-Bratva Ganger
"Got five grand on this." he says as he pulls out some sort of chip - or maybe a card, and shows it to Trechov.

Trechov swiftly snatches the card from the ganger and raises his shotgun again, shoving the ganger back. He retaliates by pulling out a pistol, while the other man takes his sledge from the ground and grips it tightly.

"We'll take these creds.. and be on our way." he says as he buries the card deep in his pockets.

-Bratva Enforcer
"Fool, you don't know who you're fuсking with!" the unit-sized ganger speaks as he raises his sledge and prepares for an attack!

The man's first attack misses, slamming into the ground, but he manages to hit Trechov once in the knee and shove him back with the tip of the sledgehammer. He grunts and cusses out the man as he prepares his shotgun again!

But before he can do that, the ganger draws his pistol and lines up for a shot! However, you manage to outdraw him and fire at his direction!

Your first volley finds its way onto the wall, but the following volleys manage to fill the ganger with holes as he drops to the ground with a thud. Trechov spits on the enforcer's body, before speaking.

"..heh. Bratva and Freedom, had to end this way." Trechov says sarcastically as he squats down to loot the enforcer's body.

-Dimitri
"Shit, chuvak, you gonna make it?" Dimitri asks in concern after sprinting towards Trechov and putting a hand on his back.

-Trechov
"..Yeah, I'm okay. We should get out of here, this place ain't safe anymore." he says as he snatches a couple of roubles from the enforcer's body and getting up again.

Mere minutes pass as the group - with the two newcomers, Tachenko and the unnamed Freedomer, joining your group as you scale the rope up the silo, where you initially came from. The first thing you immediately notice is the presence of a BTR facing the entrance, followed by distant rustling of grass and the sight of three flashlights. Dimitri immediately orders everyone to be silent, putting a finger on his mouth.

You remain undetected.

You pass by a few scavengers, but finally reach the merchant's trading post. He doesn't seem to notice you at first, cleaning a pistol with a rag, but turns his attention to you and puts the pistol on a table behind him.

-Snow Merchant:
"Oh, hey there, сестра. Looking to buy something, or you got something for me?" he says with a cheerful tone as he turns to the side to show a display of weapons and other supplies.

You pull out the deodorant and place it on the counter. He takes a moment to look at it, before briefly spraying on the counter.

-Snow Merchant:
"Hm.. this is good stuff. I'll give you two grand for it." he says as he points to a few loose roubles in the back.

You nod in agreement as he places the roubles on the conuter, which you quickly take. The man waves goodbye as you make way towards the lead scavenger again, to begin the "marking". The woman quickly takes notice of you, holding some sort of vase with a black, liquid substance inside it.

-Frost Stalker:
"Here already?" she says as she opens the vase.

She puts a hand on your face, before dipping her other hand in the black substance. With it, she paints two lines beneath your eyes, and a final line, one going down on your chin.

-Frost Stalker:
"Another servant of our cause, bless this one." she mutters quietly.

She seals the vase and hides it inside her suit again, before taking her attention to her rifle briefly, but turning to face you afterwards.

-Frost Stalker:
"Before you can join us.. you'll need to prove your worth and prove that you can pull your weight." she says.

-Frost Stalker:
"You have two options.." the scav adds as she hands you a piece of paper with two objectives scribbled onto it.

1. Extermination
"A mercenary squad has taken a special interest to us. Eliminate them and bring us their heads. We cannot risk our position getting exposed."

2. Infiltration
"We fear another encampment of ours has gone rogue and is selling information to the CZ bastards. Infiltrate their camp and find out as much as you can."

Choose the extermination mission. Go and get the basic equipment mentioned earlier, then proceed with the mission.

Kazimir quickly loots the stuff he found on the scav corpses then goes to check behind the door the fourth assailant came from. He takes whatever he finds of value there then returns to his team.

The man becomes acutely aware of the gunshot wound on his shoulder, now that the adrenaline of fighting is gone, and he gently feels over the wound with his other hand. He then raises it to his face only to find his fingers coated in blood... His blood.

Kazimir can't help but send a glare at Foma, yet quickly averts his eyes, instead staring at the dirty floor. He closes his eyes and breathes in and out deeply to calm himself, after which he focuses on his magic reserve wills it into a healing spell, directing it at his wound.

Regardless of whether he succeeds or not, the soon-to-be CZ officer asks his squad mates: "So, we're going back to base?". Obviously, if they reply affirmatively, he follows them. Otherwise, he does what's suggested.

Jeez. What happened back there...?

Vision slightly blurry and still feeling disorientated, I bring myself to an upright position with the help my arms.

"...I'm talking, aren't I... ugh. What happened? A flashbang and everything went white... why am I here? How?", I begin questioning the trooper attending to me with a flurry of impatient questions. I'm not the kind to sit on a bed idle - I have to get up and going. But not without finding out what happened first.

Backstory: Little is known about his past. He was found by one of the forces' goverment in a hidden lab inside a cryo tube. He, having no memories, was unfrozen by scientists and held captive in a complex called Location 15. During the war he managed to escape. This evening he finally arrives at the outer border of Rhozoya.
