Black hole gun

I've seen a few bases with the black hole/void gun and it's always apart of a secret.
Basically the black hole pulls you then afterwards it teleports you somewhere.

I would like to know if some of you know how to make it, Thanks.

Hey chaos dragon,

First, use trigger action 'Call Trigger B when Gun A fired' so that your desired gun executes a trigger when fire.

For this trigger, set it to:
1. First move a region to the player's cursor who shoots the gun
2. Move a door to the region.

Make sure this door has high speed, is muted, is far away from play area and is invisible.

Place the decoration on top of the door itself. Attach a blackhole decoration to the movable. What attaching does is the object will follow wherever the movable goes. So in this case, the blackhole decorations will move along the movable.

Now, place your four pushers around the movable like so. Attach them to the same movable.

Set the proper X and Y values for each pusher. Set stability damage for all four of the pushers. The pushers will move along with the movable, creating the gravity effect.

Lastly, place a region on top of the movable, just like the decoration. Set the region to execute another trigger upon Character activation and it teleports all players from that region to some other region you desire.

There you have it, a black hole gun. If you want the blackhole to dissapear after awhile, set a 3rd action for the trigger that executes when the gun is fired. The 3rd trigger action will activate a timer which in turn will eventually move the door away.

If you don't understand a single bit of this, it means you need more experience with map making.

I can understand why would someone ask how to make a specific mechanism to sue for a gun. But asking how to make a psecifc gun itself is a new one.
How many bugs does this game have anyway? jeez

I did some quite changes and somehow the black hole seem to work (But sometimes the pusher still can get you out)
But the way i try to move it it doesn't seem to work correctly, Here's a source of the black hole gun. Much appreciated if you fix it for me.

But one thing is where do I move the movable.

Hey chaos dragon,

Ensure your movable is in the center of the blackhole. (your movable will get covered by the decoration's texture, but it's okay. If you refer to the picture above, you will see that the door is in the center as shown by the text door*3)

I've done that earlier and I'm dumb enough to realize it, But the invisible door can hit you while being pulled. Well thanks anyway.

Hey chaos dragon,

You can use the teleporter in the center to negate this issue.

A better but slightly complex solution is to move the movable exactly 1000 units above the blackhole.

The red line represents exactly 1000 units. To move the movable exactly 1000 units up, click on the movable, look at the right pane where a table will be shown. Edit the Y value by adding -1000 to the original number.
Example: If Y is -1480, then change it to -2480.


After that, modify your trigger. Directly after the trigger action that moves the region to the player's cursor, use trigger action:
Move Region 'B' relative to the current position along Y.
Set param B: -1000

Furthermore, you don't need to use a timer with a 1 tick delay to move the door. Just place the trigger action after the region trigger actions and it should work.

The resulting trigger should look like this:


Take important note: If you want to move this set of decorations and pushers in the future, you need to move the movable along and ensure the movable stays 1000 unit above the center of the blackhole.
