I don't think there is an old version of PB2 if that's what you mean. There used to be Plazma Burst Void but it was shut down a long time ago, just like the Asian server...

Eric gave permission with only one condition, that he didn't add multiplayer. He later did just that and got into legal trouble.

You can download it like any swf.
1. Right-click and select "view page source"
2. Ctrl + F, and search "swf"
3. There should be 4 results. Click the one that appears as a link and it will start the download.

It seems it doesn't download on all browsers. Though I did try it on another browser where it doesn't, and the game worked just fine. Try using chrome and see if it starts downloading.
