Can weapon auto grabbing be disabled?

Can weapon auto grabbing be disabled?

Postby Jason Eden » 21 October 2019, 21:35

So, recently I added a test custom item (using invisible gun) that has an action on use feature to my OS2 map and realized one simple thing - we can create a ton of these items and put them in one single map. However the fact that you can't choose what item (gun) you want to grab and you simply gather them all like flowers by simply walking on them doesn't make anybody happy I suppose. You have to hold V while running by them so you don't pick them up. It's quite uncomfortable. Can you please disable it, Eric? And add a button which allows you to grab the closest weapon you stand on while pressing it?

You could perhaps use this in the settings:

It won't avoid picking up guns but you wouldn't be automatically be an activated slot or the gun that you'll currently use.

How is this information related to what I've said?

I just thought that you were annoyed by the fact that your slots are always switching when you pick up a new weapon.
It's a way to deactivate that.

Dude, I'm in PB2 since 2011. I've created a god damn most detailed map of this game. I've made a god damn multilevel elevator and a password panel. And you're gonna teach me how to use this?!:
