Is there any way to remove a vote from a map?

Is there any way to remove a vote from a map?

Postby Jason Eden » 7 October 2019, 13:52

So recently Ditzy unpublished his map "Eyrie" and now it shows this on my profile in "recent views":

I don't like how that thing on my account looks and I want my vote removed. How do I do it? Why we can remove our comments but can't remove votes? It's not fair. I added his map to my Top Quality Maps topic, rated it 5 stars and now it's gone, but my vote is still sticking on my account. Eric, can you add some sort of a button that will allow us to remove our votes please?

I believe only certain staff can delete your votes if it was seen as "rate abuse".

Personally, I wouldn't recommend having a 'delete' button on map rates. If you are going to rate, make sure it is final.
What's good is that you can change your previous rating if you deem it necessary because map sources can change anytime.

The map had some glaring gameplay issues, so I unpublished the map to fix them. It'll be back up soon.

Personally, I think it could be used to somewhat troll or abuse.

Perhaps the admins can. But I don't believe your issue is a priority of the staff team. Your OCD isn't on the list of our priorities.

Locked. I don't see this discussion going anywhere.
Your question about the vote removal has been answered. The answer is "No, only admins can remove votes"

You also have already been warned because of your repetitive rude and disrespectful behavior.
Keep this up and expect a ban.
