This is post about funny coincidence
I once tested a card and met in an advertisement for a part of my nickname "cake" and "spider"

Did you have something similar happen on this picture?

its prob not a coincidence, what happens is that google saves your information and uses it to try to sell you things, a classic case is like if you go and search for idk a guitar, look a little bit and then go like into any website with ads very likely it will appear, what happens is that google got your username prob cuz u submit it a lot when logging or maybe that is your name in other things google has access to

so even using a vpn google can do that, they take the information they have at hand such as your username, or if youre logged on something such as gmail or whatever in that browser, unsure if ur even using a vpn i have no idea of what browser that is

looks like a version of opera where its built-in vpn is turned off

but yeah, what phsc said is your most likely answer. google is just assuming you're interested in whatever it's advertising to you by using your name as potential data to help curate those ads to be more personalized. if your name appears commonly on a page that google's webcrawlers actively search through, chances are google will assume you like cake or spiders because those words appear more often than others which would suggest some interest in those things
