Some positive touch into the future...

Postby Fixer21 » 25 November 2016, 13:56

> My question to ya'all, who has left here, is - how do you expect PB 2.5 outcome and it's future (if there will be one)? <

Ehm... positive...? Yeah, I got one!

I believe PlazmaBurst developer(s) has done so much already, but I think, when we finally get our hands on new one, it will be in gaming world history. Might not believe me, of course, but that's my thoughs... what are yours?

Eric's done a lot for the series but in my opinion, he hasn't done enough. Half the things that he said would be in PB2 remained as ideas that never made it to the game (clan system, CTF, etc) and PB2.5 was only announced after a massive wait for years for PB3, which was when people left either for their own reasons or simply because they were tired of waiting. That harms the trust between player and developer and Eric should make sure it doesn't get damaged further, especially since he's doing the same thing again: promising a lot of potential stuff in PB2.5 while making us wait a long time for said game to come out

With the current community right now, they'll be the first ones to jump right into PB2.5. We already have a growing majority of toxic members, which means those same people will definitely be in PB2.5. Nothing community wise will change other than the fact they'll actually be hopefully effectively banned but still, it's still a lot of people. Negative atmospheres will definitely turn away a bunch of people

PB2.5's a hit or miss opportunity for Eric if you ask me

Yes, Plazma Burst 2 is showing opposite, it really is what it is...

I see a lot of you guys still come here around, so that means you like this game no matter how it is. If game was that bad and community... same... well, I don't think it will do much.

What exacly I want to say to ya'all is, if we push them hard enough and say things like ''It's ok, we can wait'' or ''Don't worry about it, everything will be fine''... outcome will be good.

Same goes with our lifes, we can't just say it's terrible, I have nothing, nobody loves/likes me anymore... we just make it more positive no matter how it is and live on. Even though 2.5 will be letdown, at least I am prepared for it.

The last few years with the wait for PB3 have really shown how effective that is. A lot of people had done this when waiting for PB3 but eventually reached the limit of their patience. Optimism can only go so far that it eventually will begin to degrade into pessimism

What determines if a player is old or not? I'm assuming account lifetime would factor in, but then how would old players be notified about the game first?

people complain that most new players from 2014 are toxic til today. and mingo can do the job on getting old players since he knows so many.

When PB2.5 releases, I'd hope that there will be a trailer for it that it shows everything what is in it, what they see things back in PB2, are now improved and styled perfectly. Of course, would be shown in Youtube, Twitter, Facebook.

And, not only new things, the new introduction of old players to new players since 2014-2016. Every players, having so much fun in it. Even some Youtubers like Jacksepticeye, Markiplier, PewDiePie, etc. will make a gameplay of it and post it on Youtube, including how does it feel to play the 2.5D game, fun gameplay, meeting some fans in it, and seeing the new forum. That's how I think.

Here goes the thing, if we want this game to become big and functional, we must be more supportive and even after it comes out we must defend it by hackers and trollies, which means, won't be a good idea for reviewing this game by those ''popular'' YouTubers. All they can say is ''Woah, it's so amazing'' but no true facts.

Personally I would give this game a shot from old players cause they deserve it more and then making normal developer team, fxing bugs and imrproving... when it is stable and fun to play, then it's time.

People rush things trough, and by rushing, won't lead to anything good. Well, we all know people are so excited for it but show some respect and be supportive first, then let's start showing the world.

Because most of the toxicty comes from young people, which honestly shows how society degrades year by year.

Some of the older players may not even play since high school,AP or college would consume a lot of their time. Or they lack interest in rejoining the community

Yeah, you're right. We should be more supportive, but I happen to respect a lot. The problem is, I can't support a lot, there are many things/problems that I have, but I could still try to be more supportive, even when I have many problems.

Plazma Burst 2.5 will the last chance to redeem the dead era of flash games. They are abandoned, I can prove it myself if I visit some of my favorite childhood flash games. If PB2.5 doesn't succeed then they will retain to such a small amount of people as it is today. There's a lot that PB2 didn't do, and the series as a whole is unknown to say the least. If PB2.5 isn't advertised and not taken up a notch to compete with games today, then I can see it getting no new popularity. On the other hand, if PB2.5 is standalone and released on something such as Steam, maybe it can revive flash games and become much more popular than PB2 ever was. Competing with other games will be hard, but a refreshing IP(intellectual property) on Steam will attract people. The way PB is played is very addicting, so if the series is taken up a notch with PB2.5 then it should do very well and I am hoping it is.
