Would you play a wild west-themed singleplayer map?

Postby Konquer » 28 January 2016, 23:46

Well , i play to make a wild west themed singleplayer map where you start coming wounded to city. As they patch you up , you got in debt becouse of it , and get into dueling. In your first duel you killed...... Well , im not gonna spoil the story too much , just some wild west things. There would be ranking system: You start as unknown , then you kill someone known , you gain his rank and repeat until you will be know in the whole Wild West. There wouldn't be something like "back to previous rank" , just getting more known , and well , at death it's all reseted. Some wild west guns [such as revolvers (modified pistols) , or gatling] , travelling through country (with chance of being attacked by bandits , the more you travel , the higher it is) , some easter eggs and more , would you play it?

PS. Forgot to add some weapons (such as mighty gatling) need some prerequisites , or done quests for special characters. Quests can be to recover some item , and prerequisites can be "find 20 species" or "defeat gun dealer"

Anyone intrested in any help can contact my skype: filiposki94

As cool as your idea seems, I would really need to play it to see if I'd like it.

Additionally, you could have the best idea ever, but it's all about execution: the way the map feels, plays, and how cleverly it's crafted for an excellent player experience.

Good luck with your map my friend, as I said, it seems cool!

:)

With respect, insight, and choice,

...those are my thoughts.

If you can pull it off, then yes, definitely, it'll be difficult with the weapons and skins in PB2, but I guess that's a compromise we'll have to make. You could probably still create an atmosphere using certain backgrounds and shapes.
