So, Why Are You Still Here?

Postby mingo1 » 7 July 2016, 04:08

The title seems like a mean and pushy question to ask the more I think of it, but that isn't how it's meant to be taken.

I've been here for years and I know perfectly why I'm still around. The people here have taught me a lot in which I have incorporated into my real life and has legit opened many doors for me.

Why are you still here, guy or gal?

(If you're new, simply explain how long you think you'll stick around for and/or why you particularly like this place.)

Let me know! :D

I'm still here because it's the best online 2D game, none of the other 2D games comes even close to pb2 :/

It's a good Game which used to have a good community.

However, I'm nowhere as active as I used to be, so you can't really say I'm still here.

Not only the reason why I have been staying here just because this game is the best, it's because I don't want to abandon my favorite game otherwise no players would've came and registered and played with us all.

Have been here for almost 3 years now.
This game and community are quite unique.
Sure, other games i play are fun as well. But this is still more fun if you play with friends from time to time, not just cause you always need to laugh when you glitch through the map or cause of something else.
Then again moderating this game is even more fun and it feels good to help this community through it's dead times.
Depends on the point of view what you define as dead. But since i have no idea how active PB2 was 4 or 5 years ago, i think this is not too dead as how other people state it.

As all others know, I'm the new guy here, and I'll be staying here until Plazma Burst 2.5 releases. What like Promethean Soldier here have said, "It's because I don't want to abandon my favorite game otherwise no players would've came and registered and played with us all."

Miss Kazy is right, it depends on the point of view what you define as dead. But since she has no idea how active Plazma Burst 2 was 4 or 5 years ago, she think this is not too dead as how other people state it.

To me, I wouldn't think Plazma Burst 2 is not too dead, it's still alive, and still has many players around to play, chat and fight.

Been here for 5 years, kinda hard to move on to something you've been attached to. That's my reason.

cuz stryde sniper is love, stryde sniper is life.

Kinda like what silent aurora said, Its hard to move on something your attached too.

I've stayed because I know that this might be the only thing I will be good at,

I liked playing the game, and I still do. Knowing your good at the game, its a great feeling.

When I was in Egypt, I didn't even know about top 100, or stryde SNiper, or cared about it. I played approved maps and custom, and had one hell of a time.

I moved back to America, And I thought about playing ranked and getting good, But the thing is Ranked snipers was much harder in Wash/Cali than Approved maps in Eu Server, so I was determined to get good.

I did get good, and i'm in the top 20 now :D

One other reason is because This is a game that my crappy computer can run

Sure if I had a good computer I would play other games, but I wouldn't play this one as much.

This is a Great Flash Game, and deserves more attention than It ever has gotten.

Pewdiepie should make a video, even if he hates it, it would get attention.

But yeah, thats my reason.

tl;dr - Because this game is awesome and hard to master

Offtopic: Okay, then if you hate this place, this forum, the new chat, the community (including and especially the staff team), why are you here, then? If you don't like everything that's here, fine. If you don't like everyone, fine. I don't literally care, even though you hate, then why posting your hatred words here? Tell me why, and I will listen carefully.

I'm still here because of PB2.5, the fact I've been here 3-4 years, and that it is nice being able to help out users as a staff member. I personally think that if PB2.5 wasn't coming I would probably have left.

Warning, salty comment below. Viewer description is advised...

The rich level editor. Best one I have ever seen other than those cheap ones that don't even have a background. Also I don't find pb2 to be a bad or money hungry place. Most of the other games I play, it always leads me getting banned or warned because the game requires you to pay and gets you banned for putting criticism *cough* *cough* KingsIsle *cough* *cough*

I've been around from the very start of the game... You can't just leave after so much time.

And it's so goddamn awesome, even if the lag makes you cry, you keep coming for more!
