I know the chances of you reading this are slim, but I am going to try anyway.

I don't think you know what I meant, I meant:

All users have a 10 karma cap, except for trusted users than can have a 15 karma cap.

I would suggest a whitelisting system which allows just users being marked as "trusted" to decrease karma points since it got abused much.
Could also work with profile progress like right activation with reaching a certain amount of kills and/or deaths.

Anyway, we definitely have to find a way to make karma abuse impossible or more difficult.

Some users aren't be able to play the actual game due to lag issues which wouldn't be fair at all.
