phsc wrote:considering ur opinion is prob the most valid considering youre the artist that made them but i dont think youre right
they do look good, they really fit pb2s style and even tho they arent futuristic, why do they have to be?
yeah youve prob heard the argument that the cs guns are based on real life ones and etc, but it is a valid argument
they have a unique style that could even become a faction in pb2.5 that could have futuristic weapons for other slots or maybe not who cares maybe theyre like a terrorist group using outdated weapons, i have no idea about most of the pb2 lore as like, almost nothig is said ingame, but i know that your guns are good
phsc wrote:well, theres a few things i dont like about your guns and yeah they arent perfect
the lmg and the av are really large, they dont really fit the pb2s character sizes that well, mostly on lenght
the qccv also has a few things i dont like such as that small bar that goes into what is supposed to be the magazine? but i have no problem with two stocks in guns? i mean realism isnt a thing in pb2 so in theory any argument like this shouldnt be considered, just look at the raygun
i do like the needle tho, and i think the concept of old ussr weapons adapted to fit a futuristic game are really good, i might try to make what owuld be a futuristic ussrish weapon later, my biggest problem with it is how some of the parts of the gun have lines that go over others, i dont like that general concept
the rpg is very cool but what i dont like about it is the colours, i think the concept is great and its the kind of gun that is going to be used forever, just a gun that fires a rocket, simple as that, even tho it isnt really futuristic in pb2 other than maybe the body part
the rmk is a really good concept, but how it ends up in the game isnt, its quite long but its not the biggest problem, i think that the fact it shoots bng bullets and kinda sucks in pb2 combat, it should be reworked into something like this
http://prntscr.com/ld7m4n keep in mind i made this edit in like 3 minutes and it sucks
and then be like a shotgun/slow firing rifle or maybe even a slot 4 or 9 as it would be a slow reloading high dmg gun
i think you shouldnt remove them, just edit them at least

hey see, you can explain it even better than me! editing is something i don't have time for rn. if you look at any of my guns they look like they have been drawned in 5 minutes each. but in fact i spend like a whole day to draw one. yea, i do things really slow.

I think he needs his eyes checked. Where's the "second stock?" There's only one obvious stock on the QCcV unless I'm missing something

here is the second one: http://prntscr.com/lda318

it's not, but it looks like one. the foldable type of stock

I also think he redesigns the guns so that it will fit PB2's art style.
Resi wrote:IIRC the fan art contest said that once they were submitted you agreed to hand over the rights to Plazma Burst, not sure where the thread is now though.
Eric Gurt wrote:I see this topic. Might get back to it once will get to adding fan art submissions to PB2.5/3.
If you say you want your arts to be removed from game - I definitely will.
I'm also curious on what is your opinion on:
1. Partial reworks (I'll change them the way I see. With or without keeping you as original artist, based on your wish)
2. Keep weapons to be allowed in Custom Maps only (not in Campaign mode)
If you still want your arts to be completely removed from game - I might just replace them with weapons of similar properties, or even create new ones that shot same projectiles, have similar size, fire rate etc.
