[APPROVAL REQUEST] mrnat444-me

A]
- To the best of my knowledge, the following map fits all requirements to be approved: YES
- The following map contains no unfair hidden features: YES
- The following map contains nothing against the PB2 Code of Conduct: YES
- I have read and understand fully the Required Reading for posting a Map Approval Request: YES
- I have read and understand fully the Map Approval Rules: YES

[B]
- Map Name: Marksman Emulation
- Map ID: mrnat444-me
- Link to Map Page: http://www.plazmaburst2.com/?s=9&a=&m=m ... &id=875771
- Link to Map Demo: http://www.plazmaburst2.com/?s=2&map=mrnat444-me

[C]
- Give a brief description of the map: since there's no desc I will give my opinion. It seems to be a good edited version of mech1354-realwar. It seemed to changed from a realwar to a sniperwar/railwar mixed-up.
- Why you think the map deserves to be approved: Because why not?
- Any other comments: It seemed for mrnat to take like an hour to get this up but it's decent enough. It was open sourced and credited anyways. Keep pushing these good maps, those are what I'm looking for = D

Im a realist. This map is symmetrical. Symmetry doesnt make any sense to me. Plus it shows how unprofessional map author is(speaking of all symmetrical maps of pb2, not just this one) if he cannot come up with anything original rather than just copy-pasting 50% of whats done to finish the map

unprofessional yet mechs realwar map isnt approved? sometimes 2 people who put 50% effort in one map is 100% with contribution. it can be an original approved map since mechs isnt approved, since it has different sky, guns that cant fit approval, different wall stuctures and player amount. Also mech is credited

Concept - Mech1354

Plot - Mrnat444

Both = Story

The point of symmetry is to give both teams a perfectly equal battleground, that half of the map takes as much effort as one tiny asymmetrical map, if you're really as a realist you are, surely you should be able to look more than just the side that bothers you, don't you think?

I still wish to have this map approved at this time, and I believe it is appropriate for approval.

Guns have been slightly modded, bullet projectile is now a bullet from the alien pistol c-01

It is just the look of the bullets on the marksman rifles and energy rifles.

subjective issues:

disabled teleporter?
-

backgrounds look off compared to the wall unless this is intentional, idk.
-

what is this and why
-

i think i see what youre going for here but i really don't know, maybe do it like this? also why is it an enabled teleporter if it does nothing?

-

The mixed decorations are so they look as other things, and modded guns are allowed, you're reading the outdated guide. Refer to this thread: viewtopic.php?f=150&t=21663

But I agree that the mixed decorations can be very confusing to people who expect decorations to act the way as they usually do (People will expect a teleporter to teleport you, not to act as a glow).
