Some trigger actions I would like

Postby jeje52 » 16 November 2018, 19:10

Hello, so here are some trigger actions that I would love to have in the level editor, I'm not sure if all of these can be
easily added, but I will show them just in case:

- Mute/Unmute Gun 'A'

- Disable/Enable collision for team 'A' and 'B'
This means that team 'A' won't collide with teams 'A' and 'B', and 'B' wouldn't collide with 'B' either

- Change variable 'A' hex color as text to 'B'
This means that when variable 'A' is in chat it would be in hex color 'B', very useful and has been requested many
times before

- Set value of variable 'A' to match player limit

- Set value of variable 'A' to the number of players in match

- Set value of variable 'A' to gun id of the gun character 'B' is holding

- Continue trigger actions execution only if character 'A' is holding gun 'B'

- Make anonymous mode effects separate trigger actions

- Disable/Enable movable 'A' collisions
This would allow moving background without using fake movables, which are glitchy and hard to use

- Continue trigger actions only if region 'A' and region 'B' overlap
Not sure if this would be possible, but I find it useful

- Set value of variable 'A' to Substring of variable 'A' with parameters 'B'
This would make commands way easier to make

- Remove string value 'B' from variable 'A'

- Remove string value of variable 'B' from variable 'A'

- Set character 'A' current hit points to value of variable 'B'

- Set character 'A' current and max hit points to value of variable 'B'

- Arrays?

- Set variable 'A' value to skin id of character 'B'

- Change character 'A' skin to skin id stored in variable 'B'

- Set movable 'A' color Red multiplier to value of variable 'B'

- Set movable 'A' color Green multiplier to value of variable 'B'

- Set movable 'A' color Blue multiplier to value of variable 'B'
These 3^ would make smooth color changes possible, without having to carefully pick every color and have like 20
triggers to smoothly change from blue to red for example.

- Move region 'A' to gun 'B'

- Move gravitator area field 'A' to region 'B'
Pushing areas could also be renamed in the trigger actions from "Gravitator Area Field" to "Pushing area". They're
not only used for gravitators

Useful, i want them. But background walls trigger actions seem more useful than movable collision, or something.
An eye for an eye only makes two people blind.
