my personal ideas for level editor (part 2)

Hey guys!
Time to discuss about my second ideas for level editor. I will add the photos later....

maybe 2 months later huh?

1) laser (damage in pusher)
first at all most, the slicing damage of pusher only cuts people in half. But why we can't cut the specific limbs?
(cut out the head/legs/hands)

2) skin editor
when we clicked on it, It should have 3 simple editors for us.
    character skin editor (eric gurt is on planning)
    gun skin editor (maybe part 3 unless someone proved me eric is planning the gun skin editor)
    barrel skin editor (discussed in this part)

PLACEMENTS:
background: black
divided into 3 parts:
    left corner: barrel model editor (purple?)
    right corner: gun skin editor (green?)
    bottom: character skin editor (red?)

then each kind of editor will transferred into interface. Gun skin editor interface idea will be discussed into part 3.

3) Barrel model editor (right side parameter)
shape: [cylinder/cuboid/sphere(laying cylinder)]
HEX colour:
explosion radius:
damage:
explosion pic: (found in library,perhaps?)
*left side is for drawing the logo, just like CS,aqua shape or others.*

1) Good idea, I would like to see this in pb2.5
2) Gun editors will be too confusing.
3) Would be good for those who uses barrels in their map, poorly enough the multiplayer does not support them and most of the map developpers do not use barrels...

I think the gun editor should only show up if you are clicking on a gun, but it would let you edit its fire rate, damage, recoil, amount of shots per click (aka 3 round burst time), etc but also would let you color and rename the weapon without using separate triggers, however, these triggers would still remain for when a gun needs to change later on in a map.

As for the barrel editor, being able to edit how much damage it did would be nice as well, but I think this editor could just be simplified down to just clicking on a single barrel and changing the hex color/damage of it.
