A really simple idea that's been talked about forever

How about having triggers that, when a player spawns in, have that player always spawn in with guns (triggers to set what guns) and on death have the weapons despawn. This could work with timers so say 2 minutes in a match all/some/one players start spawning with other weapons, etc. This would also fix a lot of DM maps and fightforthebase, maps like those.

About a time eric should implent this, i cant stand being always spawn killed because i dont have guns but the guy who spawn killed me does have a gun.

I would say, that should fit for PB2.5, not as trigger, but as a map settings, PB2.5 is an improvement, isn't it?

Maybe I didn't clearly understand what you meant.
But that option is possible, but obviously it needs its own spawning system, with randomizers, locks, etc.
Correct me if I'm wrong thought.

Annoying.
Maps such as Stryde-Sniper or xFrostBytex-SnipeZone would be a mess, and any type of Arena map. Players would just spam their left click and hope to get a lucky kild when they spawn in. Not getting spawn killed is skill, and I've always found being smarter than someone ingame or dodging, pretty easy. Those who don't, tough luck, get better.

This is why it would be an engine mark/triggers. If you don't want it on your map, don't have it.
It's more annoying to get shot over and over by guys with rifles when i have no weapon.

Only you would actually try to start a flame-war on a topic for a tremendously simple idea that has absolutely no negative repercussions.
But yes, please, Stryde-sniper god, tell us how to avoid being blown to pieces whilst practically unarmed amidst half a dozen tryhards flinging themselves around the map like bunnies on meth and spamming grenades and bullets at you all the while.
Unfortunately for you, that issue won't matter very much when PB2.5 comes out and people have better maps to play.

It's not flaming??? Besides, like another game I know, there is a 10 second limbo time after spawning so you don't get killed instantly when you spawn. Battlestar Galactica Online if you are wondering. Sounds like a crap game, but the only bad part about it is the current state of not being able to play it on google chrome... (Because Google decided to block NPAPI plugins. Why, Google, JUST WHY?!) About the better maps, with the new version of pb2, I might go back to making maps again (On the weekends) So that I can actually do some mapmaking in peace instead of being on a time limit.

Wheres the challenge in the map, when everybody is given guns, some maps are specifically made so where you shouldnt have guns. Look at stryde-arena or maxteabag-arena. Guns are all over the place. Dont make this argument

Don't panic, nobody mentioned it's going to be a default option. BTW, even in small maps, it's quite common to see weapons concentrated in 2-3 spots after few minutes of gameplay.
