PB2.5 Gun Editor Thing

Awful title but i cannot think of something better atm

My idea is that when you click on a gun in the ALE you can change the model, upgrade level, etc, you can also change that guns rifle rate, reloading time (if ammo/reloading is added in), delay between shots and how many shots can be fired before the weapon delays (could be used to make a three round burst weapon), how much damage it does (Not power, the actual amount of damage per shot, would have two spots for varying damage, like if you want the gun to do 50-70 damage, if set to 50-50 damage it would always do 50 damage per hit).
The gun triggers would not be removed.
who needs a PB2.5 release date, anyways?

The only problem I can think of with this is a fast fire rate on a ton of weapons with a 16 player match would be a LAG-FEST...

All in all, definitely an idea that gives mapmakers more options--those are always nice.
Anything to make the ALE more complex and awesome.

Eh, 16 players firing guns is already laggy, soo
who needs a PB2.5 release date, anyways?

My point exactly, the additional fire rate would make that INSANE!

If lag wasn't an issue, I'd be all over it.
Optimization is always a good thing (well, actually, it depends on what it is lol although in this case it's good, but lag continues to be a barrier).

Yeah I'd love to see this.

Also if PB2.5 supports gun attachments, things like optional laser sights or underbarrel grenade launchers or scopes, add them into the ALE too.

Would be cool to see this in place, only part I dont like is if ammo/reloading gets in place..

Perhaps reload times could be edited in the level developer too, (assuming that ammo/reloads are added). This could be used in MP to balance or imbalance a map, obviously, but it could also be used in SP to create some interesting scenarios. An infinite reload time could be a gun jamming on you.

very good idea to have a gun editor
and also more options=more posibilities for *diferent guns*
i would like to see sniper with the speed of a ray rifle xd
