More ideas for PB2.5.

So i sugget more ideas to expand PB2.5 even more, and making more fun and creative.

Lets start...


Level Editor.
1. The option to load up Custom BG's, Custom sky's, Custom decorations, Custom music/soundtrack aswell as custom sound effects.
2. More Engine marks:
- The max amout of weapons that the player can carry. I know player have 9 weapon slots (not counting swords), each slot is different weapon, but say if you limited to carry only 3 weapons, you have pistol, shotgun and rifle, so you have to throw one of your weapons in order to pick up the BNG or rocket laucher for example.
- Turn On/Off Health regeneration for all characters in the map. Also the option to make it affect on AI controled characters aswell or affect only on player controled characters.
- Oxygen when going underwater. Limited oxygen.
- Option to turn On/Off gun reload. I.e enabling limited magazine ammo for all guns.
3. More Trigger options:
- Enable/Disable "A" Health Regeneration for certain character "B".
- Clone weapon "A" to region "B".
- Access Vehicle "A". When you use switch with that trigger you will control that vehicle, but not inside the vehicle, your character still remains near the switch, so while you control the vehicle, you can get killed by someone shooting at you while you are near that panel controling the triggered vehicle. You can stop using the vehicle by simply pressing "Use" again. If the triggered vehicle is already controled by AI character, it will automaticaly get knocked out, means it will die, but the body will not show up.

Game.
1. Dont remove Wall-jump. Add the jetpack to the game, but dont remove wall jumping, or atleast make a engine mark to turn on/off wall jumping in the map.
2. Add more Turn-able abilities to the game, not just the slow down time in singleplayer, also, make them avaiable at multiplayer, choosing ability should at player profile edititing.

Misc
1. Add more vehicles to the PB2.5 game. Such as: Boats that are desinged for swiming in water, More aircraft vehicles, not just Converte and drone. More ground vehicles, not only the CS Jeep or whatever and the CS walker.
2. Allow vehicles in multiplayer, ofcourse not avaiable for Ranked and Unranked matches, only for Custom maps.
3. Turret type vehicles. Turrets can be: Ceiling guns (Guns attached to ceiling, to walls, and floors aswell), Gun Enplacements, Missile SAM sites, Heavy artillery turrets (Anti-vehicle.).


Maybe all that would be too much for asking, but it would be pretty neat to have all those in PB2.5.

Removed the "Skin editor" section in this post entirely cause after reading twitter i seen all those features are going to be added.

some can already be done for example, you can add a pusher which does damage in the water so it looks like you are losing oxygen, but there are others which can be implanted.

There are lots of good ideas here, as Aurora said some can already be done with pushers and triggers but some of them are completely new.

Some of these ideas are really good, they could potentially add a new feel to the multiplayer games and battles. Rather than having the same environment almost all the time, players will need to quickly adapt in order to be successful. This would add a whole new level of difficulty and make it more a fun challenge to find new ways to use the environment.

Why would it be necessary to kill someone?

Also, what would happen if there are 2 or more players trying to control the same vehicle at once?

And how do you imagine that? How would you implement Time Warp in multiplayer? What'd happen if 2 or more players would try to get the same gun via Kinetic Module?

How do you imagine them? In game modes such as DM, vehicles wouldn't make any sense, as it'd either be destroyed at the beginning of the game, or someone would score a nice kill streak.

Although I wouldn't be against new vehicles, I think that movables + triggers are a far better way of making turrets, as there's much more combinations available.

A couple of the skin editor things can already be done fairly easily with triggers IIRC. Otherwise these are pretty solid ideas.

The oxygen idea stuck out to me. This would be really cool for survival-based maps and for trap maps. Very creative. Plus it adds a sense of realism in it!

Yes, if we have skin editor, why cant we have the option to load up Custom BG's, Custom sky's, Custom Music/Soundtrack, and custom sound effects?

Afterall, we can have the option to make it so to able to use the content we upload it must be first accepted by Eric or the moderation team. Or just simply ban all the nude content, not that hard.

As for these ideas, some seem nice, I'd love to turn off health regen and have turrets.

Also agreeing with not removing wall jump.
who needs a PB2.5 release date, anyways?

Because of logic. Custom BGs will likely be something more than just recolors.

Of course every staff member is able to check user-made content 24/7...

This wouldn't really help. People can always make more inappropriate stuff, and hunting it down one-by-one wouldn't be very effective.

They have Exosuits that let them have high Agility and Endurance along with the Ability to carry lots of Weapons and still retain their Agility.

Considering they weren't already genetically modified to breathe the Oxygen from any compound that contains it, their Exosuits should let them breathe underwater.

It should indeed be implemented as an Engine Mark, though.

and new enemies, vehicles.
Vehicles:Falkonian ship.
Enemies:Heavy android, Other Android, COmmander Marine (marine red version)
Levels:1a,2a,3a,4a,5a,6a

Well, there should be a new points system for Top 100 and account syncs so advanced players from Pb2 don't have to start all over again in Pb2.5.
