Way to message staff while muted.

Postby ZapruderFilm » 27 September 2016, 19:31

Someone got me muted today by pretending to be me and ban evading, and I got banned for even longer.

There should be a way to communicate with admins via the chat while muted. I couldn't tell the staff it wasn't me, because I was muted.

Site inbox and forum inbox are the fastest ways to let staff know there's an issue.

Are you still muted?

How could someone pretend to be you when the account name was MrMcShrum?

It doesn't matter what the account name was-Staff thought it was me.

http://prntscr.com/cn6aww

I had been insulting Wardemption previously, and the person came in on that account, and had made their status
'Wardemption is gay'

So that, combined with many accusations of being MrMcShroom, was enough to get me banned for ban evading.

You get me?

Yeah, same here agreed. Then again the PB2 site is not really being updated for a short time anyway. Adding this now will be like muting over and over again.

Well, you guys aren't muted, so I don't expect you to empathize with me.

Um if you didn't expect replies to this topic it would most likely go in the ban appeal section. FYI if you are banned then make a post on the ban appeal where users can't post.

I mentioned that this idea should be used in PB2.5 chat in case anyone else gets muted. Again if you didn't expect replies to this topic make a ban appeal .

My mute won't be appealed because it has a legitimate reason behind it. I'm not like everybody else who tries to get out of it by saying 'im sorry pls let me back my attitude changed man'

I just wish I could reply to all the PM's I've been getting while muted.

Then again I just made a statement saying this idea should be in PB2.5 chat . Then it will make it easier to message staff. I wasn't empathizing with you I just said it should be in PB2.5 chat to make it easier.

You know, it's not like simply using the forum PM system works the best. Atleast to contact me.
I don't see why we need an extra chat or messaging system for discussing bans.

Even so, I'm getting PM's while muted and I can't reply for 24 days and it sucks lmao

You can just PM a private channel invitation code to the user on forums/site and talk back.

It is not "easier" than just using the forum PM system.
