Some of you might remember this post. Anyway, I wanted to update it because I just finished my Project Nexus season 1 campaign last weekend. I released the final episode and wanted to announce that here. So I hope some of you will play part 11 or just replay my series in general for some of you that haven't already.

I would say mediocre, it's not very bad.
But I liked more the old layout from the old version (The grass and ladders, stuff like that)
Overlay the backgrounds with the walls, it make the shadows work properly without brightness on the corners.

I will tell some new features that PB 2 has, you can now do some coloring on your character's skins and change the model of the limbs, which can makes your characters... "unique".
I did not play the old series but the remaster is looking good, keep working on it.

(oh btw hi)

You're welcome.

The old layout looked weird to me. I didn't like it. The new one doesn't satisfy you?
I know that feature where you can change the model and skin color. I will do that later on in the story.
Also it's been a year since I made maps so I am rusty. What do you mean "overlay the backgrounds"?
By the way could you give more details to why it is mediocre. I'm not going to lie I feel a bit insulted.

Well the new one doesn't bother me that much.
When i mean the "overlay the backgrounds", I mean something like this http://prntscr.com/ji8fi1 (an overlayed background)
Oh, it's mediocre because of how the map actually looks, like the fences, the sign and the letters on the wall.
But it's nothing too gameplay breaking, hopes on your remaster.

You're welcome.

So about that overlay background all you do is move the wall past that line?

I'm pretty sure I did that. Unless I did it wrong somehow.

dude did oyu really spend 8 hours doing such a simple thing as a pb2 map
i mean ffs i can do this in 2 hours
so what i thot about ur maps
1st part: pretty cool, still, way too easy, no actual history but its ok for a first map
not that good decoration, small mistakes like lighting and shit, also i would add a ammo system if i were u as you can pick enemy weapons for some reason, and the hp is also wayy to high making it really easy
2st part: better, still had other problems, in dialogs, you can use x to move, the elevator part felt slow but still good, add a fake gray door so it actually ferels like a elevator and make the bottom part a little bit thinner so it matches the top one
also... what the deliciously exquisite pizza sauce am i supposed to die here? http://prntscr.com/jk8yx0
made that other dialog scene really funny

This isn't my first time making maps you know.
Yes it actually took me morning to late noon to make it for the second part.
I mean it I was not rushing, I was trying to perfect it as much as possible.
I will fix the HP for episode 1
The second episode with the fake door thing I tried that and I had some problems so I gave up on that.
And yes you are supposed to die here. I made it hard as possible so you can't beat it but you did apparently.
I mean how am I suppose to fix you not moving when you hold x as your mobility factor is -1.

just puts doors/pushers around the character, thats how ppl did it back then
also maybe make so all the enemy characters will shoot at you no matter what happens(i self boosted threw some grenades using slow motion to use my swords to reflect bullets) so they will keep firing, using the new function that moves regiosn into the player and then making the enemies look and also fire into the enemy

I shall update it right away. And about that fake door thing I tried doing that and whenever I pressed E, the door would move somewhere else, they would not move into the region I told them to.

Ok I fixed the problems you suggested. Good now? I have increased the Heavy health to 400 and lite to 300.
The reason to why I gave every enemy like 150 or 200 health is because I made it look realistic. If I gave them 300 or 300 health like now they have to die until they get like 10 bullets in their body. If I gave them 150 or 200 health they would die in like 3 bullet hits because that's more realistic.

the first map is still not good but the second one is slowly getting better
with the elevator thing i said, i wasnt talking about the elevator door, but the elevator itself, kinda like a background that is a fake door in some color, but what you did is also great
anyway, the map is still easy, mostly because of your characters hp being pretty high, 500 would make it actually something yo cant just go in shooting and dodging bullets and win without any challegne, even tho i would make the enemies hp like 200-300 and yours also 200-300
and that part that youre supposed to die, it worked fine, BUT one deal, when i died it didnt go into the other character, it counted as a loss
also i think its still possible to kill the ??? dude with nades as you can still throw them if youre good enought
also about the first map
the sign at the start is really ugly, my 2013 ekat bases had better signs, and they were made in the old lvl dev
at the start you can get the security dude of the gate out of the game without him dying, what i did to get past this was self boosting into it but some ppl might not be able to
and in a general way, the map just looks kinda... ugly? if its supposed to be a military base, add some tubes into the sides, maybe some rock parts as some looks like its on montains and shit, also that another fake door elevator thing i was talking about
anyway its getting better

I realized why you could not switch to the other character. Because when you reach that part that you die there is a timer and since I gave you 1 health you die instantly so there is no time for the timer to reach the trigger. But I fixed that now once again. I gave you 500 health now. The first map what do you suggest? Remove the sign, I'm fine with it. I didn't know what to add for the prison base for the decorating part honestly. Changing the design in episode 1 is not my priority at the moment. For now do you have any suggestions for episode 3 to make it better so I can appease you? Because I'm just going to spoil it now, there's going to be more bases in the upcoming episodes just like episode 2 but a little different. Also It took me 7 to 8 hours due to lack of ideas on how to design/create the base, triggers and regions technical difficulties, etc etc.
