I know it's probably too late for an idea like this, in such a late-stage game. This said, this has probably already been posted about, but I had been thinking about how cool it would be to have swords do different amounts of damage, and have different speeds and lengths. And colors as well.
Here's some parameter... things:

-Filter all characters' swords in region A with color hex B
-Set Swords damage/length/speed for character A to B
-Set Swords damage/length/speed for characters in region A to B
Gameplay
-Filter all swords with color hex A
-Set Swords damage/length/speed to A
